Key Initiatives

• Drive Thru Dinner: Free homemade dinner provided to the community on the third Thursday of each month (5:00–7:00 PM). Dinners are packaged to go or can be eaten in the parish hall.
• Warming Shelter & Shower and Suds: Joint ministry with Bedford Presbyterian Church (112 Center Street, Bedford, VA). Serves as a Warming Shelter in winter and "Shower and Suds" in summer (providing intermittent meals, showers, and laundry for those experiencing housing insecurity). Administered by Tim Brooke (434-944-2461).
• Bedford Christian Ministries: Partners to provide emergency financial assistance and food items to local families.
• The Shepherd's Table: Local hot meal program (Mon, Wed, Fri, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM). St. John's volunteers prepare and serve meals on the first Friday of each month.
