Youth at Council
Youth skating trip with Main Street UMC-January 2015

St. John's Youth and Girl Scout Troop 525 worked together to provide free hot chocolate to the community during the Annual Bedford Christmas Parade.
St. John's Youth Group recently walked through downtown giving thanks and praying for our community. We stopped at Bedford Middle School, Historic Avenel, the Bedford Fire Department, Witt Foggleman, Rwandan Hugs, Rowe and Sitzler, Garrett and Garett, the County Offices, DSS, the Courthouse, the Town offices, the police department, and Goose Creek. Along the way we were invited in several places and met some of the folks who make our Town a better place to live. Thanks be to God!

Youth Group
6th through 12th grade
The youth group at St. John's has organized or participated in a wide variety of activities over the years including mission trips to New Orleans, eastern Virginia, and most recently a REACH trip to Roanoke. Members attend Annual Diocesan Council in January, and our February ski trip is a group favorite. In addition to regular meetings after church, the youth group plans yearly hiking or camping outings. St. John's especially enjoyed being a part of Mass on the Mountain in May.
St. John's Youth are always planning new events and outings. Not all of them will be posted here. To find out the latest events, plese contact the church ofice at 586-9582 and the Administrator will put you in touch with the youth coordinator.
